Wendi Lewis – Regional Director

Wendi joined JMFA with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, both as a systems, equipment and consumer-engagement product provider to banks and credit unions, as well as in bank leadership positions. Her expertise includes management, relationship building, operational design, planning, software and customer service training, and marketing.

Prior to joining JMFA, Wendi was an account executive for Security Corporation where she sold security systems and equipment to financial institutions in western Michigan. She was an assistant vice president of sales and a special project manager for Byron Center State Bank where she managed personnel and developed, as well as implemented, a call center and training program for customer relationship management. As vice president, branch administrator and training officer for Valley Ridge Bank, she managed all sales and operational aspects of eight branches, including customer and staff retention, product and sales training, marketing, and software/hardware installation and training. She began her career at Clarke American Check Printers (Harland Clarke) as an account executive and regional sales trainer.

A Michigan native, Wendi is involved in leadership and advisory positions for a number of state industry-related financial organizations. She is past president and current director of the Mid-Michigan Banking Group, and an associate member of the Michigan Banker’s Association, Community Bankers of Michigan, and Michigan Credit Union League.
