Sean York is the JMFA Regional Director working closely with community banks and credit unions in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Coming from the Merchant Service world, he worked with software companies as an integrated partner to implement and enhance their payments module. Sean’s career started in education, where he met his wife teaching abroad. He is an accomplished leader who offers a unique problem-solving perspective and valuable consultative guidance to find the best solutions for organizations to address their individual needs.

He is passionate about developing strong relationships and helping his clients realize fulfilling and strategic outcomes. Based on the industry’s complex regulatory environment and competitive landscape, Sean advocates for clearly defined, transparent solutions that will assist financial institutions in strengthening their service delivery.

Sean holds an MBA from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He and his wife Emily reside in Kansas City with their family.
