Gil joined JMFA with more than 14 years of experience in the financial and technology services industry. He has strong background in business development, relationship management, account management, and product development. Gil is recognized for seeing how products and services assist members and customers.

Prior to joining JMFA, Gil was a business partner consultant at Truliant Federal Credit Union where he expanded market coverage by identifying prospective business partners and applying differentiated marketing strategies to enroll, service, and maintain long-term partnerships. Additionally, he was a relationship banker at BB&T (now Truist Bank) where he initiated, developed, and managed relationships while assuring both profitability targets and client needs were met. Most recently, he also worked at the largest data analytics provider to credit unions.

Gil received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State University.
