Donna Gibson – Regional Director
As Regional Director, Donna is responsible for expanding JMFA’s client base in the mid-Atlantic markets of Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and District of Columbia. An experienced business owner and successful contributor to a technology-based startup, she specializes in business-to-business relationship building. Having recruited and maintained long-term clients, Donna appreciates the importance of onboarding, training and nurturing throughout the customer life cycle. Skilled at project management, she has worked with customers and clients at all levels of an organization to guide projects from inception to completion. Known for working with customers ranging from the individual to the institutional, Donna can provide new and existing clients with a level of service that has sustained JMFA for more than 38 years. Tech-savvy and a graduate of New Hampshire’s Plymouth State College, Donna earned degrees in Business and Foreign Language, and is fluent in Spanish.

Gil Johnson – Regional Director
Gil joined JMFA with more than 14 years of experience in the financial and technology services industry. He has strong background in business development, relationship management, account management, and product development. Gil is recognized for seeing how products and services assist members and customers.
Prior to joining JMFA, Gil was a business partner consultant at Truliant Federal Credit Union where he expanded market coverage by identifying prospective business partners and applying differentiated marketing strategies to enroll, service, and maintain long-term partnerships. Additionally, he was a relationship banker at BB&T (now Truist Bank) where he initiated, developed, and managed relationships while assuring both profitability targets and client needs were met. Most recently, he also worked at the largest data analytics provider to credit unions.
Gil received bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Appalachian State University.
