JMFA News: Advanced User Sessions Combine Professional Consulting and Peer Review

During user sessions for JMFA Academy – held at the company’s Houston training center – bank and credit union clients participate in one-on-one interactive groups focused on how to improve overdraft program performance.  The Academy, which is offered exclusively to JMFA OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE® clients, is facilitated by the company’s most seasoned overdraft program implementation and compliance experts.

              
Top Takeaways January 2017
At the two-day events—hosted Jan 23-24 & Jan 25-26—participants gained valuable knowledge as well as solutions to some of their real-world challenges on a wide range of overdraft program management, compliance and account holder-related topics. Following are three top takeaways from these sessions:

1.  How to most effectively use the data generated by Fast-Track reports to set realistic goals and improve problem-solving strategies.
2.  A refresher on how to get the most benefit from the program software and performance tools provided.
3.  The importance of a continuous focus on employee and account holder education in maintaining compliance and best practice implementation.

According to JMFA Implementation Manager Jennifer Peoples, the sessions were designed to reinforce initial on-site program training and implementation, as well as the ongoing consulting clients receive for the JMFA Overdraft Privilege® program.


“The off-site location allows attendees to focus specifically on performance improvement without distractions or interruption,” she said.  “Plus, the program format allows participants to interact with the people who designed and continually improve their overdraft program, as well as gain insight from the different perspectives of other attendees, which is a unique and valuable aspect of the Academy.”
