JMFA Academy: Resolve to Improve Staff Training in 2018

SESSIONS INCREASED TO TWO FULL DAYS IN RESPONSE TO PARTICIPANT INTEREST

It’s that time of year when we all take a look at ways to make the next 12 months more successful than the last. Did your New Year’s resolutions include creating better service experiences for your account holders and increasing revenue for your institution? What about ensuring that your programs and services are fully compliant to avoid regulatory scrutiny?

For JMFA clients, as you begin putting your strategies in place, make plans to attend a JMFA Academy event this year to ensure that your employees are up-to-speed with all of the information they need to keep your overdraft program working at maximum potential for your institution and your account holders. This FREE, Advanced Program Management training for JMFA OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE® provides up to nine CPE credits for participants who are maintaining professional certifications.

Increase your knowledge and results
All JMFA Academy sessions are offered exclusively to JMFA Overdraft Privilege® clients at the company’s Houston corporate office. This off-site location allows participants to step away from their day-to-day duties and distractions to catch up on the latest compliance updates and strengthen their strategies for improving their program’s performance and service results. Plus, the session activities provide a great opportunity to interact with industry peers through one-on-one and small group discussions.

Learning Objectives Include:
Regulatory compliance and best practices as they relate to overdraft privilege
Improving efficiencies and results with Privilege Manager CRM® software
Effectively using monthly tracking reports generated by Fast-Track
Success factors for overall program management
Key elements for improving program results, including the newly identified 8th key element of success
Roundtable discussion on overcoming obstacles and idea sharing

Due to participant input in last year’s sessions, The Academy has been extended to two full days. “As participants hear the presentations and share their experiences with colleagues, they often realize that they have neglected to implement program resources that could greatly enhance their performance,” said Julie Gardner, JMFA special projects manager.

“By providing additional time for discussion of compliance expectations, effective program management recommendations and real-time success stories, participants will have more opportunity to familiarize themselves with the applications available to benefit their program going forward.”

“When you use certain software functions for a long time, you don’t think about all of the additional options that can facilitate your operations and improve your results. The group discussions and personalized attention from JMFA’s expert consultants during the Academy sessions highlighted some things we had forgotten and shed light on applications we didn’t realize were available through Privilege Manager CRM® software. Having this information will greatly benefit our program going forward.”
— Tricia Cross and Licia Martins, Navigant Credit Union
